Project Complexity
Making Security Technology Feel Human

‍

Security products can easily become overly technical in their communication. A list of features can explain functionality, but it doesn't necessarily communicate how the technology fits into people's lives. For AURM, Hyve combined live-action storytelling with CGI and VFX to create a more cinematic product narrative.

‍

Combining Reality and Digital Production

‍

Live action established the human environment. CGI allowed product elements and technology to be visualised with precision. VFX connected the two. This hybrid approach meant the film could move naturally between the physical experience of the product and the technology behind it.

‍

Making Invisible Technology Visible

‍

Digital visualisation becomes particularly valuable when the technology itself isn't immediately visible. Rather than relying solely on verbal explanations, the film uses visual effects and motion graphics to turn product features into visual moments.

‍

Result

‍

The final brand film combines product communication, technology visualisation and emotional storytelling. The project demonstrates how hybrid production can be used when a technology brand needs both the credibility of live action and the explanatory power of CGI.
