Project brief
A lens can look like a simple physical object. Its most important differentiators, however, relate to the user's visual experience and the technology embedded in the product. The challenge was to translate these invisible benefits into something visually understandable.

Making Invisible Optical Technology Visible

‍

Hyve combined live action, animation and VFX to communicate Nova AI's progressive-lens technology. The live-action component established familiar human situations. Animation and VFX then created a visual layer through which the product's technology could be explained.

‍

Connecting Technology With Human Experience

‍

Rather than presenting the lens as an isolated technical object, the film focuses on the experience created by the product. This distinction is important for technology marketing. Consumers don't necessarily need to understand every technical specification. They need to understand "What does this technology do for me?"

‍

Result

‍

The film demonstrates how hybrid production can turn an invisible technological proposition into a visual consumer story. It is particularly relevant to brands working in optics, medical technology, wearables, consumer electronics and other products where the key benefit cannot easily be photographed.
